In Persona, twenty-nine-year-old photographer Jason Travis endeavors to satiate his curiosity surrounding "what [others] deem important in their lives" by photographing artists, musicians, and filmmakers in his native Georgia, along with the contents of their carryalls. Voyeurism aside, Travis' ongoing exploration aims to find a link between consumerism and community, whether who we are is defined by what we buy, and to what degree.
