"Dream Collective, Kathryn Bentley's new line of high-end costume jewelry, sends us back in time to a more primitive era. Like ancient relics from a prehistoric age, Bentley's pieces are wrought from rudimentary elements such as oxidized brass and bone, wood and antique African beads. With references to indigenous cultures and primordial forms, the Dream Collective line combines roughly hewn shapes and raw textures with natural, subdued tones for a primal, earthy delicacy.

Our good friends Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan are performing in Los Angeles for the last time tomorrow night, at Hotel Cafe from 9:00PM-10:00PM. The next time you'll be able to catch these two amazing artists & musicians will be in March of next year. Pattengale and Ryan, who recently made the much anticipated move from collaborative solo artists to official duo, will be embarking on a cross-country tour and recording songs for their first album in their new, as yet unnamed, formation.
