Restocked: Garbstore Foreman's Coat

The Garbstore Foreman's Coat is styled after an English 1950’s style Warehouse Blazer and re-modelled with wool facings. The coat features domed panels on the inside arm and skinny, easy-access top pocket flaps. The lower pockets are strengthened by insertion into the side seam, and the top right as worn pocket has a Talon zipper closure underneath the flap. The front facing of the coat is triple stitched and lined with Japanese wool. The front buttons are real leather ball-type buttons and adjustable tabs on the coat's rear fixed belt makes for a relaxed, yet tailored fit.

We sold out of the Garbstore Foreman's Coat in Black nearly as soon as they were available in-store. By popular demand, and a stroke of luck, we've been able to get our hands on a few more and they're in transit from London, as we speak! The coat is available online and ships out to you as soon as they arrive, next week.

SYMMETRY

Symmetry is a new accessories collection from designer Ted Byrnes and stylist Gena Tuso. Rooted in Los Angeles, the husband-&-wife team prides themselves on actively advocating and participating in the "already very large patchwork of honestly made products coming from artisanal producers".

For Symmetry's inaugural season, Byrnes and Tuso sourced all of their plaid wools from America's oldest woolen mill, Woolrich, and their lighter, non-plaid wools from storied Japanese mills. Each scarf is cut & sewn locally, and all of the accompanying hardware was designed by the duo and cast & produced in Los Angeles, as well.

Symmetry's line of scarves is now available in-store.

UNIS

Milkmade is extremely fortunate and excited to be the latest stockist for New York-based menswear label, UNIS. Often spoken of as the essential uniform for the downtown man, UNIS designer/owner Eunice Lee's classically cool and impeccably tailored clothing has taken her from cult status darling to being identified as one of GQ's Best New Designers in 2010  (see video below); standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow nominees Billy Reid and J. Crew's Frank Muytens, and distinguishing herself further as the first female designer in the history of the award to be nominated for the honor.
