A.Four/Lucas Price for Tokyo Bikes

To inaugurate the opening of their new East London store, Tokyo Bikes enlisted six artists to each customize one of their bikes. Pictured above is the entry from A.FOUR/Lucas Price. Get familiar with that name. Lucas Price is an artist based in London and Tokyo. After having spent his early years making graffiti, and as the founding member of the Burning Candy Crew, he went on to study at the Royal College of Art. He is one of only a handful of people in the College's history to be accepted with no prior training or qualification. With an eclectic style, his work ranges from graphic print-based work to oil paintings and installations. At Banksy's request, he appeared in the Oscar nominated film Exit Through the Gift Shop, and has exhibited across the world, including the Tate Modern in London. Price continues to collaborate with Adidas, CASH CA and Mitchell Grass, and is working with Kazuki Kuraishi on developing "an artist's uniform". A.FOUR is his latest project which sees Price collaborate with Kazuki Kuraishi, once again, and will make its US debut at MILKMADE, this fall.
