Eames Outtakes: L.A. Unrestrained
PBS' American Masters program brings us an epsiode titled "Eames Outtakes: L.A. Unrestrained". In archival footage from "An Eames Celebration," a film for WNET created in 1973, Charles Eames describes the city of Los Angeles as an illustration of what happens when design lacks constraints, as he drives around Venice and down what is now Abbot Kinney Blvd. (Eames' old studio is located at 901 Abbot Kinney Blvd.).
See if you can spot the mid-century bungalow that MILKMADE calls home.
