In Southern California, we like to take pride in our vehicles, be they 4-wheeled or 2. We'd like to think that they say something about us--our personal style, our way of life, and perhaps even our state of mind. In recent years, the bicycle has reemerged as the mode of transport du jour but in Italy, it's long been the people's "people mover". Ironically, only three factories in Italy continue to produce complete bicycles and, out of a dedicated workshop in one of those remaining factories comes ABICI. The company's website says it all: "ABICI is future memories, a bicycle in its pure conceptual form, a perfect combination of yesterday and of tomorrow, to pedal today."
