The Hill-side S/S '12

The Hill-side Spring/Summer '12 collection has arrived and with it, their celebrated seasonal lookbook. The Brothers Corsillo produce, once again, an intimate and illustrative presentation of their latest collection, enlisting a host of faces familiar to The Hill-side lookbooks, past. For the past few shoots we've gotten them to cram into a photo booth at a bar in Red Hook; hosted them at a dinner party; and last season we sent wandering photographer and good friend Mikael Kennedy out with a duffel full of our ties, handkerchiefs, and scarves to photograph all of his friends. This time around we threw a weekend-long party at The Hill-Side / Hickoree's HQ, and asked everyone and anyone we knew (and their dogs) to come by. We enlisted Mikael again this time, and the setup was very simple: dress each other up and hang a length of fabric from the new collection on the back wall, "school portrait" style. Over the past six seasons, we've learned that when you work with friends, a simple premise can lead to a remarkable outcome.
