Stumptown is coming to MILKMADE!

We're bringing the legendary Portland, OR-based small-batch roaster's coffee to the streets of Venice. Starting this weekend, we'll be stocking 10.5-ounce "stubbies" of Stumptown's cold-brewed House Blend coffee. More on Stumptown's House Blend:

Our Direct Trade House blend is constructed with some of the world's finest Latin American and East African coffees. The blend's components rotate seasonally in order to capture their peak flavor. A.Four/Lucas Price for Tokyo Bikes

To inaugurate the opening of their new East London store, Tokyo Bikes enlisted six artists to each customize one of their bikes. Pictured above is the entry from A.FOUR/Lucas Price. Get familiar with that name.

Lucas Price is an artist based in London and Tokyo. After having spent his early years making graffiti, and as the founding member of the Burning Candy Crew, he went on to study at the Royal College of Art. He is one of only a handful of people in the College's history to be accepted with no prior training or qualification. With an eclectic style, his work ranges from graphic print-based work to oil paintings and installations. At Banksy's request, he appeared in the Oscar nominated film Exit Through the Gift Shop, and has exhibited across the world, including the Tate Modern in London.

Price continues to collaborate with Adidas, CASH CA and Mitchell Grass, and is working with Kazuki Kuraishi on developing "an artist's uniform".

A.FOUR is his latest project which sees Price collaborate with Kazuki Kuraishi, once again, and will make its US debut at MILKMADE, this fall.

BICYCLE CLUB BY NL ARCHITECTS

A palace for the people's people mover finds a home in Hainan, China. The Bicycle Club by NL Architects was recently built to encourage not only the storied sport of cycling, but also as a center for interaction and community. More on the cycling pavilion from NL Architects:

A rooftop cycling arena is supported by a glass-enclosed cafe at ground level. The oval-footprint structure’s protruding canopy is essential due to the tropical climate, shading the perimeter seating. The elegant upward curvature of the eaves evokes the form of the traditional and functional pagoda. Visitors set their bicycles within a recessed trough and easily walk up two staircases to the open-air velodrome. The area beneath by the stairs contains and conceals public restrooms.
