Meet Momoko Suzuki. Together with her design partner/husband, Alexander Yamaguchi, Momoko designs and produces the Black Crane and Alexander Yamaguchi collections out of their Los Angeles home. Drawing from Momoko's background in environmental art and architecture, and Alexander's in silkscreen printing and patterning, both lines find their strengths in their geometric silhouettes and uniquely hand-dyed fabrics. As Japanese-born designers, both Momo and Alex share a deep interest in ancient Japanese culture and civilization, while both their design, and decorating, philosophies mirror a minimal and balanced approach.

Quantic & Alice Russell feat. Combo Bárbaro

Based out of his Cali, Colombia studio, Sonido del Valle, Quantic is an umbrella name for UK-born, Will Holland: Producer, Musician, DJ for over 10 years evolving across various styles: Soul & Jazz to Electronic thru to Latin, Reggae & Cumbia. I've been a fan of Mr. Hollands since '03, when I discovered Quantic Soul Orchestra and their Stampede LP. To date, I've yet to see him perform live in any of his musical incarnations. But that's all about to change when Quantic comes to L.A. on March 22nd and takes the stage with frequent collaborator & vocalist Alice Russell, along with Bilal, all-female L.A. soul group King, and headliner The Robert Glasper Experiment.
